Celebration of Saint Charalambos
Our region comes alive every year through religious and cultural events that keep tradition alive and offer unique experiences to visitors and locals. Every year on February 10, a multitude of believers from all over the prefecture and the wider region of the Thessalian plain visit the village to honor the memory of Saint Charalambos. The worship gathering takes place in the Church of Saint George, where the holy relics of the Saint are kept. The church, built in 1912 and renovated in 1969, is a point of reference for the local community. After the divine service, visitors have the opportunity to enjoy traditional hospitality, participate in local customs and taste exquisite dishes, in a warm and devout atmosphere.
Celebration of Saint Paraskevi - July 26

On July 26, the local community honors Agia Paraskevi, with a magnificent religious ceremony at the homonymous church, followed by a traditional festival full of music, dance and food. The celebration lasts until late at night, with live traditional music and local delicacies, bringing visitors and residents together in a unique setting of joy and entertainment.
Cultural Three-Day Festival – August 7 to 10
From August 7 to 10, in the courtyard of the Church of St. George, a three-day festival of cultural events will take place, highlighting the traditions and history of the place. Dance groups from the region will present traditional dances, transporting the audience to the past of the place.
Musical evenings with local orchestras create an atmosphere of joy and celebration. On the last day of the events, the evening concludes with the traditional distribution of fasolada, a custom accompanied by good wine and local delicacies.
